Terms and Conditions of Hire
Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £100 will confirm your reservation (£150 deposit for 2 vans). Full payment must be made one calendar month before the date of hire. A payment reminder will be sent six weeks prior to the hire date. Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the hire.
In the event of cancellation, we must be notified at least one calendar month prior to the hire date. Failure to do so may result in the hirer being asked to pay the full amount outstanding.
Damage to Vehicle
We reserve the right to charge the hirer a minimum of £100 for any breakages, spillages or soiling incurred to the vehicle whilst under hire. In the event of damage to the exterior of the van, the hirer is liable for all repairs.
We have fully comprehensive Hire and Reward insurance for your peace of mind. Due to the age of our vehicle, seatbelts are not required. We are unable to transport any child under the age of three years old as we do not have seat belts in the rear of the vans and that this is a legal requirement.
Breakdown of Vehicle
In the unlikely event of mechanical breakdown and therefore the van being unavailable for hire on the day, a full refund will be given. However, we will make every effort for the immediate repair to the vehicle. Where this is not possible, every attempt will be made to provide alternative transport and driver free of charge in order for your big day to go ahead as smoothly as possible.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, where it would be dangerous to drive the vehicle, for example, snow, we reserve the right to cancel the booking or offer an alternative vehicle, as described above, which will be more appropriate to the conditions.
We do not charge for the first 30 miles from our base in Rotherham. However, extra miles are charged at £1.00 per mile. This will be taken into account when we undertake a quote for you. Distances are calculated using the AA route planner.
